i'm currently trying to decide whether to go to los angeles with friends or bali with family for a week in june. such a big decision! i really want to go to the u.s but it all depends on whether i can get on a flight!
Bali with family is more you- I think you would enjoy it more as it would be more relaxing. Los Angeles is dirty and tacky haha. I didn't enjoy it very much- it's surprisingly dead as well (not many people around on the streets etc). If you go to the U.S. try to make it over to New York- it is incredible place which doesn't disappoint!!
thanks darling! i really want to go with josh and lu though and may never get the same chance again. good idea about new york. i could take some extra time off work and get over there (how far is it from la?) but i don't want to do it by myself :( we'd be spending most of our time (only about 5 days) in anehiem (disneyland!) and santa monica. i figure i can do bali anytime but not this and i feel like i need some fun!!
Oh with Lu and Josh- how cool. You'd have a great time with them. I would definately recommend Disneyland- It is lots of fun!! Still a child at heart lol ;) New York to LA is a 5 hour flight (they are on opposite ends of the country). While Santa Monica is in LA, it is pretty nice as it is away from Hollywood- It reminded me a bit of the Gold Coast! California is actually a pretty awesome part of the world to explore- Try to get out to Orange County, or a beachside town in California. I didn't get a chance to make it out there, but everyone that did said it is was one of their highlights of their holiday.
i did reply to this but it's disappeared! i was saying that i want to do la because it's with josh and lu and i won't get the chance again. it's just going to be a quick trip because i can get cheap flights and need some fun!! in fact, disneyland is on the tv ads as i write this. A sign!
