the cup

it's the race that stops a nation, and the race that drains my coffee fund! $7 down today. that's ok though, it was a fun day doing the sweeps, even if it was at work. i wish i could have gone to the races instead. i could have been wearing a pretty dress, sipping champagne and watching the beautiful horses instead of sitting at my desk. next year i might plan a trip to melbourne to experience the atmosphere of the melbourne cup.
